Players will compete in their regional leagues and earn leaderboard points based on their finishing position each week. Running over a period of four months, the £12,000 William Hill Poker League will crown a National and Regional Champions for each league. There are seven Regional leagues namely Scotland, Wales, Ireland (North + South), England – London, England – North, England –South and England –Midlands.
The Regional League tournaments will take place at 4pm on Sundays while the National Qualifier and National Final will be held on Sundays at 4pm. At the end of 13 weeks, the poker site will award the winner from each Regional Leaderboard a cash prize of £260.
The top 20 players from each region will win a seat to the National Qualifier tournament. Players who end up in the top nine positions in the National Qualifier will be entered into the National Final which will be held at 4pm on May 20th. The National Final will have a prize pool of £5,000.
William Hill wishes to make this poker contest interesting and has offered 50% extra Points Week at the end of every month. The site will increase the leaderboard points earned this week by 50% and also increase the added cash to £100. Also, players who play in all of their tournaments throughout the season will get a bonus of 100 Leaderboard Points. All other weeks will have added cash of £45.
